The spirit represented on this gope appears to move simultaneously between two spheres of existence, to dance vertically in the air and float horizontally in the water. The fluid and graceful movement of the figure's arms suggests effortless movement just below clear water while it looks back at its owner. The raised arms and abstract depiction of its feet animate the figure as it transforms into a human shape becoming recognizable to those on earth who view it.
