Large gope from the Era river area often have less geometric designs. Typically, elongated oval boards are seen with a smiling face with round eyes in the upper third of the board and a fluid design resembling beams of light. Curvilinear, figurative elements form the body of the design with upraised arms and bent legs. The remaining space is filled with fluid, non geometric areas alternating in white, dark red pigment or bare wood.
